Batch Resize in Picasa

Picasa is Google's popular photo viewer and organizer that is distributed as freeware. Besides providing a rather extensive range of photo editing features and tools, Picasa represents a great solution when it comes to resizing multiple pictures at once. Follow the below steps to learn how to resize a whole folder of pictures or multiple images with Picasa.

  • Select the photos you want to resize (they will be shown in the photo tray.
  • Then go to the File menu and choose "Export Picture to Folder".
  • Choose an existing folder, then in the "Name of exported folder" type the name of the new folder, and select the desired picture size with the "Image Size Options".
